Alchemy Lacquers - Gumdrops and Witches Brew

* Provided for Review *

Hello my loves and happy hump day! I am super excited because today, I have a new nail polish brand to show you; Alchemy Lacquers! The creator, Rebecca, has this great story about how a small project with her mother transformed into her own indie polish company (dream big kids :) ) Today I have two glitters to show you, Gumdrops and Witches Brew!

First we have Gumdrops from the Winter Collection and it is a clear base, chock full of white, orange, yellow, green, and red hexes of varying sizes as well as purple squares.  Formula was thick but in a good way! I had absolutely no problems getting any glitters out of the bottle or spreading them on the nail. There was no pooling or dragging. I do suggest top coat as the finish is a tad bumpy (but not enough to bother me). Swatches show one coat of Gumdrops over Essie Smokin' Hot.

Oh mah goodness that macro!

So many glitters! So little time :^/

Next up, we have Witches Brew from the Fall Collection. Rebecca describes this one as containing small purple, orange, black, and iridescent glitters in a lightly blackened base. I do question the iridescent glitter because I almost think they might be holo; but either way they are GORGEOUS. This polish provides a lot of glitter coverage and I was able to get it mostly opaque at 3 coats (which is what swatches show). The glitters spread easily/evenly and dry time was decent.  Given how full of glitter this polish is, it is thick, but not unmanageably so. I do suggest doing one coat of top coat, and then another coat of top coat the next day as this glitter will eat some of it. However, if you're up for the textured finish, this polish is great without topcoat!

Swoon! I love this vampy glitter combo!

Don't let this macro fool you, there are definitely no apparent bald patches in real life

Well that's all for today's Alchemy Lacquers polishes, tune in next time because I have two more great shades to show you! In the meantime, check out Alchemy Lacquers on Facebook, Etsy, and online. As usual, remember to always keep it classy and creative!
