Blue Lagoon

So Monday, we meet again. You are a formidable and unrelenting adversary. I will try to ward you off with copious amounts of caffeinated beverages. Good thing is, I was able to rest up on Sunday so I guess I am as ready for a Monday as I will ever be!

How about I pep things up with a new franken? Today's creation started with about 3/4 of a mini bottle's worth of TKB Luster Base. I then followed it up with a little bit less than one full scoop of TKB EZB College Blue powder pigment and two full scoops of TKB Shanira Sun ( which is a glass fleck shimmer that shifts from gold to green similar to the shift in Chanel Peridot). I call this one Blue Lagoon!

Super macro goodness

Swatches show three coats and one coat of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri. It self leveled well and applied like buttah!  Given that the glass fleck was used in a blue based polish, the glass fleck now has a subtle shift between green and blue. I love it! It's so summary and beachy!  If the beach isn't a cure for a Monday, I don't know what is.

So there you have it, Blue Lagoon! See everyone back on Wednesday for more franken awesome sauce! But until then, remember to keep it classy and creative!

  2. Haha that totally made me think of Scooby-Doo, "and I would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for you meddling kids!" Anywho, thank you. I am so glad you like it :)
